Hello! I am an Behavioral and Social Scientist at the RAND Corporation. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University's Institute for Policy Research. I received my Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago in 2019.

My research focuses on the foundations and consequences of  social networks, particularly how they are shaped by institutional and group contexts. This work has led me across several domains, primarily adolescent development and urban police misconduct. In other projects (past and present) I have examined social cognition and political ideology.

I also spend a good chunk of time developing statistical and mathematical techniques for analyzing relational data. My primary methodological interests lie in latent trait models for network data and sequence analysis. My work has appeared in outlets like American Journal of Public Health, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, and Sociological Methodology.
